SAVI3M Tech was founded in 2025 with the aim of developing new magnetic measurement methods and instruments for Non-Destructive Testing for quality evalution of material properties of components.
Currently, many conventional NDT methods and instruments focus mainly on crack detection in components. But, components can fail prematurely if the material properties such as microstructure, hardness and case-depth etc. are not achieved optimally during the heat treatment stage. There are no reliable NDT methods and instruments for evaluation of material properties in heat treated steel components. Currently, the material properties are determined through destructive process of metallurgical analysis which is tested in one sample from a batch. This destructive analysis is time consuming, wasting some expensive components and still does not give 100% confidence in the reliability of the entire batch of components resulting in unexpected failures and the associated cost.
SAVI3M Tech focuses on introducing new NDT methods with aim of reducing the amount of metallurgical investigation, saving time and cost and also provide 100% inspection of all components in shorter time with greater confidence in the material quality.
